Aji (pronounced Ah-HEE) is the Latin American word for all hot peppers. Used for centuries as a condiment and digestive stimulant, it is believed to have healing powers. Aji is traditionally used in moderation with every meal - Aji is for Latin America as Ketchup is for North America (though much healthier!).

At Aji Gourmet Products, our goal is to enliven your everyday meals to "add spice to your life!" And our versatile recipe, with its ultimate blend of ingredients and unique piquant flavour, does just that.

Use as a dip, marinade, and sauce on everything from fish, chicken, beef, or pork. Add it to your seafood - it makes a great ceviche! Add it to tofu, tempe, and vegetables - it adds amazing taste to all vegetarian dishes! Aji is a great addition in soups, stews, and stir fries. You can even add it to your scrambled eggs in the morning, or mix it with mashed avocados for the best guacamole you will ever taste, guaranteed!

One of the most delicious, original and unique spreads
is ZACUSCA.

Zacusca is a delicious vegetable spread original to S-E Europe made with local fresh produce according to an old family recipe. Sweet roasted red peppers, eggplant, onion and tomatoes are the main ingredients for this spread which is most delicious served on bread.

Other variations of the same recipe include beans, mushrooms, carrots or zucchini instead of eggplant. We always use locally grown vegetables and when possible buy straight from local farmers and we use no preservatives.
