Our Aims are to support local farmers and small business people who grow, make or bake their product.
To expand the variety and quality of local produce and products to the Vancouver consumers
To help educate the buying public on how their food and other essential products are produced and used.
Our farmer's must sell their own produce and are not allowed to buy in produce from another source.

Ambleside Farmer's Market is in the parking lot behind the Police Station on Bellevue between 13th and 14th Streets in Ambleside, West Vancouver.
Ambleside Farmer's Market started in June of 2005 in this great location adjacent to the entrance to Ambleside Park and Beach. We often look toward the ocean, a block away to see a huge cruise ship passing so close you can almost touch it! Quite spectacular!
We are very lucky to have such a great variety of organic and conventional farmers at this location. We also have a good selection of prepared foods including baking, syrups, jams, jellies, honey, salsas, anti pastas and much more. We also have a good and varied selection of B.C. crafts including jewelry, clothing, wrought iron, garden sculptures, soaps, pottery and much, much more. Ambleside Market has a book exchange, newspaper reading area, games table, kids play area, and live music. |

Lonsdale Quay Farmer's Market started on the East Plaza at the Quay in April of 2002. The location is perfect for a Farmer's Market as it has trees which shade the vendors and a cool breeze coming off the water which is great for keeping the produce cool. The location is spectacular with a view of Vancouver and the cruise ships arriving and departing.
We have been lucky in having some of the best organic and conventional farmers in B.C. attend the market plus great bakers, jam makers, honey gathers, and salsa makers. The market has great diversity in vendors and a good collection of crafter's who sell jewelry, children's decals, pottery, soaps, kids clothing and much more.
This market has a book exchange, newspaper reading area, and live music. |

Burnaby's first Farmers' Market started on June 13th, 2008 in the North Parking Lot at Burnaby City Hall.
This season we are very excited to be moving to the Carousel Meadow at Burnaby Village Museum at 6501 Deer Lake Avenue. The Village has free entrance this year and there is so much to see, and enjoy, at the village once you have finished your shopping at the market. There is Free Parking opposite Entrance 6 and it is just a short walk to the market from that Gate.
We have great farmers, both conventional and Organic, and a good selection of prepared food vendors and local crafters. There is a covered kids play area, community tent for Non Profit Groups, a used book exchange, games table, sitting area with local newspapers, and wonderful live music. |
